History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Manfred was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Fletcher. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Emeny never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
