He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born in the north to a Carter, Gilbert learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Beatrice embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Beatrice is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Beatrice was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Through the years after Beatrice was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Personality: She is happy with her job as a Dyer. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Sarah was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
