Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. The war was a terrible time for her, and Hugolina does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Through the years after Hugolina was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Hugolina's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Hugolina and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Ernest is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Anselm isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Anselm was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Lewis was born the youngest of three triplets. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to reunite with his absent mother
