History: Mary was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Barrister. She tends to her Barrister job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and balancing her hectic life and new barrister responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Sybil is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Sybil grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Sybil. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she has decided she is irredeemable

History: Born in the west to a Barrister, Heather learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it
