History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Personality: Galiena is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she wants revenge against brigands

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: She was born into a rich family. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is greedy; and to prove her worth to the world
