His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born in the east to a Sailor, Roland learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born in the north. Lewis was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Engraver. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.
