History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

History: Jacoba lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a chocolate of some kind. She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, marred by chocolates. Her hair is long and brown with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small black clips. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Mercenary they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Bather, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers
