When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tanner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gerard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hubert grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: She is wearing a long, brown, dusty cloak. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly pickaxes and hand crossbows. She has no hair. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are brown.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. The war was a terrible time for her, and Emma does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. Emma was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Emma decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
