Description: A stocky lighter skinned woman, she is dressed in a clean brown cloak covering her clean studded leather. She has no hair. Her eyes are likewise brown.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Melissa was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature glaive.

History: Richard was born with his mother's beautiful face. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with deerstalker hat. His golden hair is knotted and matted. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he's repulsed by the pc
