Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his falchion with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His hair is chestnut and curly. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.
History: Gerald was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Performer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and retire the richest man in the east

Description: This man is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time, and sports empty pouches on his belt. Sporting a chestnut mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His amber eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Adam will drive conversation. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bookbinder work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bookbinder work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: An older man who wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with black lining and desert motifs, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is long and red with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.
Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.
History: Gomory was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and pastel, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She has slicked back brown hair. She wears an eyepatch.
Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.
History: She comes from a rich southern family. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered giants who tried to eat her hand. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and someone believes her a fraud
