Description: An older man who prefers to wear flannel, he is not a threatening figure. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Hugh never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Her gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. She takes great joy in being the best Apothecary in town.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Apothecary for the past few years.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

History: William lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and a deep hatred of brigands
