History: She was born into a rich family. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born to a Bounty Hunter, her father struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Herleva was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Herleva's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Herleva and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Helen was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
