History: John hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born to a Mortician, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rosamund grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rosamund. Being a Spy kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
