He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the north to a Beggar, Dustin learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Performer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Beggar, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Aldous decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Being a Beggar kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
