History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Shane was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Shane was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Shane's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Geva lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student she started as a Locksmith, but she got bored and became a Bather. She's also a talented Locksmith, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
