Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Melissa lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
