History: He was born into a rich family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Reynard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: Tim is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Tim was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
