Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Juliana alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She's also a talented Interpreter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Bertram was born the youngest of three triplets. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He has worked as a Layabout like his mother before him.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
