History: Matilda lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Shipwright, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has never given up on his painting dream.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
