History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Hubert has worked very hard to control his curse. After a long history of fighting, Hubert and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Miner born in the past three hundred years. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Expand her business; and balancing her hectic life and new miner responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Agatha lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wishes to resurrect an old love
