History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fletcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jacoba fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
