Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Richard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She feeds upon the attention of others.

History: She got into the Guard business at a young age. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She struck the Guard job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing her hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

Description: This younger middle-aged man usually wears his pastel robe and has his kukri always slung over his shoulder, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His white hair has been sun bleached extensively. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cory grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Cory and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: An older man who is typically in his Beggar uniform, he is not a threatening figure. His chestnut hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady blue eyes.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: Born in the east to a Beggar, Balimaar learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has worked as a Beggar like his father before him.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and a rival would like him out of the picture
