Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. His ears are large.
Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her childhood dream was to be a Sculptor, but she was a colossal failure. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Cecily alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and nothing but the best is good enough for her
