Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Charles was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Charles's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Eleanor never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
