Personality: Mary hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Map Maker business.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
