History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Maynild was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Maynild and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Chad hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. After a long history of fighting, Juliana and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
