History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Bertram reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'0" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty blue coat over it. He keeps his chestnut hair in a flapper bob. His eyes are likewise violet. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. Hubert enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Through the years after Hubert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Hubert's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Revenge; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Nicholas's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
