History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Helen grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.
