History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Oriel grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Gardener. A true patriot, Eloise would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has achieved small success as a Gardener.

Description: 5'0" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He is dressed in an above average manner. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: The child of a Healer, who enjoyed hunting, Shane was taken on many hunting expeditions. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he is wracked by social anxiety
