History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
