History: Gifted from a young age, Miles studied abroad. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Spice Merchant who has hired her part-time. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Avelina is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She got into the Miller business at a young age. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She struck the Miller job and began her own company from there.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Sarah lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Tanner they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Tailor, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother.
