Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Simon hails from a village terrorized by drow. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it
