Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He sports black clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. His moppish silver hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.
Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: Anselm lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Description: This malnourished man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his scimitar with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: He has a large blue mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his green robe, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'6" when asserting himself. His hair is black and curly. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.
History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His childhood dream was to be a Bather, but he was a colossal failure. He's also a talented Bather, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Description: She wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a grey coat. She has moderate length red hair. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.
Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.
History: She got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She struck the Spice Merchant job and began her own company from there.
Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and sabotage a competitor
