Description: A 5'0" southern man, he wears a grey costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. His auburn hair and beard is wavy and long. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is afraid of women and trembles around them
History: Heward hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

Description: A 5'10" northern woman, she wears a red vest and prefers tan and violet shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. Her hair is long and white with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small red clips. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.
History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she wears black leather gloves, a black jacket, and tight pants. Her golden hair, when down, is lengthy. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.
Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Assassin. She takes great joy in being the best Assassin in town.
History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: To protect her home; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: She comes from a rich western family. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war.
