History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Gerard took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gerard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
