Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hugh grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hugh. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Helen was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
