History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. John grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did John. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Balimaar hails from a village terrorized by orcs. A gifted student he started as a Beggar, but he got bored and became a Barber. He became a Barber soon after.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he feels threatened by others

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. A true patriot, Ahlyssa would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She bought a hand crossbow and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.

Description: This dark-skinned male sports blue clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has taken up work as a Map Maker and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Map Maker responsibilities is difficult.
