Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Adventurer. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Adventurer. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Adventurer for hire.
