Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Bernard's homeland. Bernard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roger embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Roger was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Roger was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Roger's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is mildly Human supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Farmer. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Wants a kiss.

History: Gerald hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
