History: She was raised in a desert tribe. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying east to reunite her family. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Sarah was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the drow.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Through the years after Avice was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Avice's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
