She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His auburn hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving John alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. John was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Born to a Bounty Hunter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Eva was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She became a Barrister soon after.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
