Personality: Miles hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born in the south. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Miles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Gardener.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Maynild liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
