Personality: Bertram hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She dresses well, wearing violet shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. Her long chestnut hair reaches down to her waist. Her blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Jacoba was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Jacoba decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Bather kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Description: She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. Her hair is long and white with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small brown clips. She has gleaming, smiling green eyes.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
