History: Randal hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Randal never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Heward's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He bought a monstrous two handed axe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and a deep hatred of brigands

Personality: She is fixated on the number 41. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
