History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Patrick was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Patrick's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Patrick and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Matilda fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
