History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. Helen enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Helen grew up listening to her mother's many stories. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
