History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Anne will drive conversation. The war was a terrible time for her, and Anne does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Anne was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Bellfounder, but he got bored and became a Scribe. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
