History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Justin was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 29. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Eva was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She bought a mace and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: Gifted from a young age, Charles studied abroad. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Being a Detective kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Randal embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born into a rich family. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy
