History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hugh grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nicholas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
