History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Bernard was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Unemployed. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away
